We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to work together with the Print Lead and Business Director to lead client and internal teams in the planning and execution of complex client projects. You will work across all channels, using the agreed workflows and processes while meeting business objectives.

You must be super organised, keen to learn, confident, and passionate about delivering best-in-class, creative work on-time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working together with the Print Lead on receiving and interpreting client briefs and scoping out projects, creating detailed SOWs, timing plans and cost estimates for each, and project managing them from concept to delivery.
  • Supporting on shoots and liaising with and organising third-party suppliers
    (including but not limited to food stylists, prop stylists, video production
    companies and photographers).
  • Ensuring deadlines are adhered to, escalating risk to department heads when needed.
  • Working with the ops manager to ensure projects are always planned around resource availability and skills are matched to work requirements.
  • QC’ing all final work together with the team prior to print/deployment, ensuring all assets are as they should be across all channels, all the time.
  • Having commercial awareness and learning to manage the balance between sometimes competing client wishes and what’s best for the success of the brand/and or campaign
  • Learning to confidently liaise with and manage a multitude of external and internal relationships, including trading teams, ATL agencies and suppliers.
  • Managing website display ads using Google Ad Manager, as well as uploading commercial content to the CMS
  • Becoming a pioneer for continual process improvements and lead others to follow suit.

  • Want to work on cross-channel content from in-print mag advertorials and special projects, digital display, video and social.

  • An excellent communicator and not phased by a client-facing role.
  • Basic/good analytical and numerical skills, with a desire to learn and grow in this area

  • Relevant work experience in project management, or in the creative, marketing or media industries, is a plus
  • Basic skills in Excel, Trello or any project management tools would be an advantage, but not a must

Hours and Location

We have successfully implemented a hybrid model of home/office working which aims to retain the best bits of remote working while welcoming back the social and creative interaction needed for employee happiness and business success. The focus is more on output and a cohesive culture and less on physical location. Employees will work 2 days from our office space at WeWork, 145 City Road, and 3 days from home but there is total trust in individuals and teams to flex this blend of home/office working to create the optimal work life balance while getting the work done in the best way.

We work a 35 hour week, Monday to Friday. This role is advertised as a full-time role but please talk to us about part-time hours if this is your preference.
