Junior Community Manager Internship (French Speaking) wanted by @wearesocial in London
This role would suit a recent graduate looking to start their career in marketing and PR within social media. The position is to work with one of the world’s most exciting travel brands, engaging with the French market.
Key Responsibilities:
Community management for client pages, writing daily posts and responding to customer queries
Monitoring conversations in social media channels, constantly developing the French Facebook presence
Identifying areas of interest and inspiration within travel to inspire users on Facebook and Twitter
Supporting the team with ad hoc tasks in English and French
Skills Required:
Fluency in French (experience living in the country), ability to understand the French culture and market
Creative writing skills in French and English
Understanding of Social Media and its channels, mainly Facebook and Twitter
Understanding of how social fits within the wider marketing mix to enable it’s integration
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Your experience doesn’t have to be extensive, but you must know your way around the above. Having a passion for travel and all things social is very important.
More important than experience are the skills and the basics of good French language: we’re looking for someone who can lead a conversation with a French audience and exactly understand their needs.
